Buddy....such a beutifull site.
You should get some subway posters up or something in the
subway or on TTC busses because so many people would back
you on this site.
Rogers
is a stinkin rip off.
Their motto "Charge more and get less". I like the "other"
peoples motto, I think Starchoice, "Get more for less money"
Nice job!

Thats right Scott
ROGERS is a "stinkin rip off". But you forgot a
key point, they are also run by talking monkeys. I can tell
you from my own personal experience that I subscribe to Starchoice
and Ive never been happier.

I've lived in Peterborough
for 5 years so I have not had to deal with those idiots in
awhile!
We deal with Cogeco Cable and
I'm beginning to suspect that they may be related.......
I love the site and will definitly
pass it on!!

Mary, thank you for your
support. I really hope you do pass on the site to everyone
in your e-mail address book and tell everyone you know. If
enough people become aware of the alternatives and choose
one over ROGERS, maybe theyll get the point. Or even
better, maybe ROGERS will offer me $1,000,000 for this stinkin
web site. If that happens, please watch for my next site

Dude...great call to MOJO this
AM ... enjoyed it thoroughly....I am so surprised that Rogers
actually bought up all of the rogerssucks/ihaterogers domains....talk
about an insecure business entity!
BTW...regarding ISPs...check
www.canadianisp.com
Great links there to various highspeed alternatives!
Cheers!

Jay, I was stunned when
I saw ROGERS owned "ihaterogers.com", "ihaterogers.net",
"ihaterogers.org", "rogerssucks.com",
"rogerssucks.net" & "rogerssucks.org".
Yet, I was dumbfounded when I discovered that, they did NOT
own the Domain Name extension for the country they provide
service in, which is ".ca". That is typical ROGERS
stupidity & thanks for the link.

I certainly have a rant, I
am only 15 years of age, and I am stressed out because of
rogers Cable Inc. First of all, we moved to a new house, I
previously had simpatico HSE and was very happy with it, but
when I moved, sadly it wasnt available, so I had to
turn to cable *shudders*. The house was newly renovated
etc, it had no cable in it, no cable running from the main
etc. We told the techs that on the phone when we first call
to order the cable/internet service, they said ok, I ordered
it in my name first, and the lady said she would put it through,
and everything was ok, and she had to wait to see if cable
was available in my area, and would take 24 hours and, I would
get a call back.
After about 5 days, I called
back, they said that there was no account registered under
that name and there was no inquiry on the service availability
in my area, I was like shit, you idiots wasted my time, and
then the guy put through the order if service again, this
time in my moms name and said service was available
and everything is set and yet they still sent out some idiot
5 days after that said he couldnt do the installation
because there was no cable coming in from the main, and he
couldnt possibly do it him self. Someone else would
have to come, then 5 days after, another tech comes, and does
inside cabling, and says to my mom and I that, "you guys
are all set to get cable now", And I said, but there
isnt any cable running from the outside, he said someone
else has to come out again, to run the cable. Then another
tech comes out about 5 days after and says "I cant
run the cable from the main because you are more than 5 KM,
away from the node green box)."
My mom and I went ballistic.
What were we going to do? The guy said, well they would have
to use a special cable, because it wouldnt make any
sense, and Im left with a cable modem, thats offline,
and no television. Then about a week later, at around 7 pm,
said they came to run the special cable, took about 20 minutes
(they were on the street from before, for about an hour) for
them to fix it up, and everything. And then bam, the television
worked, and I plugged the cable modem in, and it was flashing,
and he said wait a while for it to work, and he left. The
modem wouldnt go online, so I called them and asked
why, they said the modem had been provisioned to two different
servers, I WENT CRAZY, after weeks of waiting for this shitty
service, and going through all this crap, I was out of internet
from before, and still am out of internet.
Anyways she said it would take
approximately 72 hours, 72 hours started to turn into 7 days,
then 10 days, and then after I knew it, I had been waiting
for a month. Then finally one day it was online, and to my
surprise the speeds were shitty, the upload was higher than
the download, I was being disconnected from the internet,
it was a terrible experience, since then its not possible
to count the amount of rogers technicians that have been out
to my house, the digital cable levels are always too high
or too low, I have had my modem replaced 3 times, I pay for
the bill out of my $100 dollars pay, since I use the crap,
honestly, its a waste of money to go to rogers, they
really screw you over.
Thank you for your time.
Junior G.
A very unhappy rogers customer.
P.S stay away from rogers,
if you want to have a peaceful life.

Junior, youre 15?
Couldnt the way ROGERS treated you be construed as "child
abuse"? ROGERS gave you the old lie and deny tactic theyre
famous for. Our Internet Alternatives section is almost complete,
so keep checking back and hopefully we can find you something
to meet your needs other than ROGERS, those dirty rat
bastards.

You have a great site and you are preforming a great and important
service to mankind.
One of the reasons why people are reluctant to change their
internet service is because of the hassle in letting everybody
know your new address. My solution to that was to go out and
register a domain name so tha my e-mail address stays the
same with any company. This may be something you want to suggest
to visitors to your site.

Good point Mike. Only I dont have to point it out,
now that you did. Although technically this isnt much
of a rant, anyone who commends this site as, a "great
and important service to mankind", must have had some
beef with ROGERS at some time.
