Subject: its all good
Well here we go, i know you
will probably have a negative response for me after you read
this however i feel i should defend my company. First and
foremost in regards to your ideas about the people and the
"hate mail" we write but there are the comments you have posted.
1. People who dont think providing alternatives to ROGERS
services is a nice thing to do. Well no, i think that posting
alternatives is ok by me, that doesn't bother me one bit.
2.People who feel Im being unfair to ROGERS
boo-hoo.
Again no, you not being unfair to Rogers, you are just omitting
pertinent information being that ALL complaints about Rogers
happen to EVERY company out there. It's not a Rogers
exclusive. And 3.People who essentially are disturbed with
the concept of taking a stand against someone who screwed
you. No all the power to you for taking a stand it's a good
idea by my terms, But just a question. I do not know what
company you have now, however i do not believe you have never
been screwed by another company ever, and if thats the case
then everyone in the world should worship you because you
are god...of some sort. Mistakes happen you do know we are
all only human. I myself am a telemarkter for Rogers and daily
hear how many people love rogers, and hate bell or hate telus.
The bigger the company the more mistakes you run into it happens.
To EVERY company. That's that, so respond in your rhetorical
manner you do to all "hate mail" writers. Make a put down
statement or even the fact that i'm a telemarketer but remember
that you are not unique. There are Bell hate pages and Telus
hate pages. You are just an engine looking for a vent. Thank
you and keep up the good work. KP

First off, this is not a
"rhetorical" response. None of my responses are
"rhetorical" and if youre going to use a 20
cent word please know what it means. My responses are usually
sarcastic and insulting and sometimes funny
so Ive
been told.
I HATE
ROGERS, not Telus or
Bell or anyone else and thats my prerogative. You work
for ROGERS and you want to defend them
very noble, but
who cares really? Do you think ROGERS has any concern for
you? You are insignificant to them and are only filling a
chair and they will never be as loyal to you as you are to
them
YOU are not unique. I however am off the charts
when it comes to unique.
I will not make fun of you
for being a telemarketer. Its honest work. I will however
make fun of you for not being able to spell telemarketer.
Every point you made in your e-mail and every issue you have
with this site all became meaningless when you ended your
message with "keep up the good work". So thank you
for wasting my precious time.

I'm just wondering if you've
noticed how many people are taking the time to disagree with
your "I hate Rogers" website?
I think refocusing your energy
on family, friends, career would be a healthier way of using
your energy.

Im just wondering
if youve noticed that its about a 1:9 ratio in
favor of people who do agree with my web site opposed
to those who dont?
Family, friends and career
are all great, and I have plenty of energy. Actually, when
its around 2:21 in the morning, if Im not sleeping
Im probably focusing on one of the three, as opposed
to sending pointless e-mails to strangers.

Subject: This website
Good day,
I am currently an employee
of Rogers Wireless. I have no knowledge of the internet or
cable side of the business, therefore I will not comment on
either. However, I have been with the company for almost 2
years and have a few things to say.
First, yes I agree, Rogers
has its problems, but what company doesn't? It certainly would
be a wonderful world to live in if we all were completely
satisfied with the companies that provide us services, but
let's get real: no one can please everyone all of the time.
Does Rogers make mistakes? Yes. If it is brought to our attention,
then most likely we are happy to correct it if it is a legitimate
error. I speak to hundreds of clients weekly and I can
honestly say that when customers see something on their bill
they don't understand or looks like an error, they call in
ready for a fight. To those people, I simply say, your bosses
must consistently have you on the Employee of the Month list,
because obviously you make no mistakes. Usually, it is a simple
explanation, but many people have no patience to hear it.
It takes a lot of patience, understanding, and ability to
listen to these people rant at you, as if you personally are
cause of their problem. Grow up people and remember that there
is a human being on the other end of the phone, not some robot.
Am I the biggest Rogers fan?
No. There are some things I would like to see different but
nothing is going to change by ranting and raving. Overall,
I like the company as an employer and the services are pretty
good. Are your rants legit? They probably have some truth
to them, but consider this: Rogers, Bell, Fido, Telus are
all major corporations. They have, and always will have, administrative
and network issues. The creator of this website
has obviously harbored so much resentment that he has decided
to devote all this time to promote a lot of anger and complaining.
Seriously, why did you spend all this effort making this mean-spirited,
albeit clever, website? Are you unemployed, recently let go
from Rogers, or what? I applaud your creativity but seriously
condemn your bad taste. Consider developing a website to help
out, not promote frustration and hatred. You obviously have
a talent...put it to good use.
Regards
KJD

I love the way people who
try to defend ROGERS point the finger at everyone else and
say, "See they make mistakes too, theyre not perfect,
stop picking on ROGERS, blah, blah, blah
".
ALL of the rants on this
site are legitimate & unsolicited submissions. I have
never worked for ROGERS in any capacity. This site is not
mean spirited, and promotes alternatives to ROGERS products
and services not anger and complaining. The complaining part
developed naturally from ROGERS poor service, policies, product
and customer support. This site is truthful, helpful and far
from being in bad taste. You couldnt possibly be biased
could you? Who signs your pay cheques again?
What does this mean?: "Does
Rogers make mistakes? Yes. If it is brought to our attention,
then most likely we are happy to correct it if it is a legitimate
error."
"MOST LIKELY we
are happy to correct it
"???? Guess what Kerry.
I have a company with more than 20,000 clients and I make
sure EVERYONE is happy. It CAN be done. Im not
the only one that satisfies and appreciates people who pay
for a product / service. Errors are corrected, apologies are
made, satisfaction guaranteed and everyones happy. You
dont make excuses for why you suck, you correct errors
and continuously strive to improve. You dont point your
finger and say complain about them also
theyre
not perfect either.

Subject: Too much for you?
Hello,
Well first of all, I dont have a problem with Rogers.
But, when someone sends you hate mail about your website,
(not your intelligence or you as an individual) maybe you
should reply to their concerns about the SITE. When someone
makes a spelling mistake or a grammar mistake you freak out
and call them "retarded" or some other childish
insult. I and many others find this to be quite amusing because
you are not defending your site, you are diminishing the person
and making yourself look like an idiot. You allow people to
send you "hate mail", when it is really just a persons
opinion, (a lot like your site) but you cant leave it
at that. You have to go on and insult the PERSON instead of
just answering their concern. Now, I think that is just lame
and immature. So, your reply to a persons email shouldnt
consist of insults as well as a grammar and spelling tutorial
but a polite response. You are running a web site, I think
that requires some maturity, so if someone writes to you and
they are rude, deal with it in a professional
manner not by insulting them. If you cant deal with what people
think or what they have to say maybe you shouldnt let
them send you "hate mail".

I love receiving HATE MAIL,
hence the creation of an exclusive section for it. Do you
think everyone should adhere to your advice?
Do you think I should do something the way you
would do it? I dont. I do NOT have to be polite, I do
NOT have to meet any preconceived level of maturity you have
and insults seemed to work OK for Don Rickles. You think that
just because you have an opinion everyone wants to hear it.
You may want to reconsider that thought my dear.
This web site is helpful,
funny, effective and popular. I have created an interesting
forum and compiled a database of reliable alternatives and
if I choose to call someone retarded, moron or half wit then
Im afraid you will just have to live with that choice.
There are millions of web sites to be found on the Internet.
If you find this one too distasteful exercise your free will
and surf somewhere else.

Subject: Im not sure
what to call this..
Well, I really don't
know where to start. I hate this site but yet I feel
compelled to visit it almost on a daily basis. I gives
me a great comfort to see that stupid people really do exist,
and to make matters worse, the express their stupidity where
others can see it! (kinda like what I'm doing eh?)
I can't believe how retarded
some people can be when it comes to any kind of service that
is provided by Rogers. I have read all of the rants
to find that some people are just looking to make themselves
miserable and bash Rogers because they can't deal with the
fact that things change. Prices get higher because assholes
who think they are better than everyone else deserve everything
for nothing, which is not the case. So you've been a
customer for 1 month, big fucking deal. I have a couple
friends of mine who are employees of Rogers (wireless) and
it's amazing to hear them talk about the kinds of people who
call in (of course, no names are ever mentioned, so relax
HR people). People who think that the world owes them
everything.
I have several services with
Rogers and sure, I've had problems, but nothing to get my
panties in a bunch for. It's time to realize that we
are living in a ever changing technological world and shit
happens. Nothing is perfect and you're bound to have
problems with other companies too. Might not happen
right away, but you'll see. There has to be places out
there that don't measure up to some peoples' standards.
I am not writing this to praise
or condemn Rogers, just some of people who have sent in rants
for no apparent reason and don't have anything better to do
with their time. At least it's keeping people off the
streets.
Have a good one and thanks
for the comic relief
E.L.

See this is a perfect example
of someone who used their spell check
but unfortunately
could not possibly be brighter than a small appliance bulb.
To avoid being redundant, Ill only provide one example
:
"I
gives me a great comfort to see that stupid people really
do exist
"
If youre going to
point out people are stupid, first you should try to avoid
stupid spelling mistakes yourself.
Without wasting too much
time on the above submission, just let me say this:
As you put it Linda, "shit
happens". The problem is ROGERS ran out of toilet paper
years ago and cant clean up the mess!
